three phase
three phase power = 1.5Kw
single phase = 1.5KW/3
500w
kw = 500w/.86 (.86 is power factor)
kva = 581.39 watts
current = kva / voltage
voltage = ? 120 v at guess
current = 581.39 / 120
current one phase = 4.84 amp
three phase = 4.84 x 3
14.53 ampshttp://myelectrical.com/notes/entryid/8/three-phase-power-simple-calculations
240v would come out as 7.26 amps
If you can not hold your hand on the motor for a count of 10 when it has cut out, the motor has overheated and needs to be replaced or find some reason for an overload.
Put a valve anywhere in the pump outlet piping that is convenient and throttle the flow on the pressure side. Grundfos pumps are well built and will handle the small increase in pressure.
Do NOT restrict the inlet to the pump as inlet restriction can lead to cavitation and early pump failure.
that looks like a fun 1 to work on. i think you might have trash in your impeller that will cause a drop in pressure .. this one will take some time to work on.. go slow ! here is a break down
Question edited for a lot more clarity, add maker, fix typos, change into what I think you were saying. Manuel is the name of a Spanish gentleman, 'manual' is the word you need.
Manuals in the link, plus the maker. This link show 'M Series' belt.
