it sounds like you may have a suction side leak on the pump. check the lid o-ring and the suction side fittings to see if there may be a possibility of air being sucked into the pump and causing it to act like it's picking up prime and then losing it.

Sometimes its a simple Power Cycling that's needed. Fancy term for going to the outdoor pool panel, flipping all the breakers to off, counting to 10, then turning them back on again. Hope this helps

Usually resetting the 'Service' breaker on the main control box resolves this. If not, even though your remote receives data, you may still want to replace batteries in the remote. Next would be a faulty remote transceiver board ( cheaper to replace than the next item), in the unit with the antenna, or the mother board (the more expensive item).

Try this. Hold down the 1 button and the plus and minus button at the same time for about 5 seconds. You should see all the lights light up and the screen will go into reboot and display the model and whatnot. After that see if it comes on by pressing start

When you switch it on, watch the breaker trip. Does it slowly move to off? That is a lazy breaker and needs replacing. People use breakers as switches and they are not made for that, so they wear out. If the breaker snaps straight to off, you have a short to earth. Look for water around the electrics particularly at the pump. If you can't see anything obvious, call out a pool electrician to diagnose and fix.
