Pride Mobility Products Revo (3wheel) Questions & Answers
Even on a full charge
Pride scooters are known for this problem, as I found out when it happened to mine.
You need to replace the Throttle Pot. Either take it to a mobility shop and let them do it or buy the part and do it yourself. It simply involves unscrewing the old one and screwing the new one into place, and there are diagrams to help you on the internet.
This throttle pot problem has happened to my Pride scooter three times already.
MY PRIDE REVO MOBILITY SCOOTER
I know what the problem is as I have had it no less than 3 times with my own Revo. The Throttle Pot needs replacing. Luckily they aren't very expensive and you can fit it yourself if you are a handy sort of person. It just involves turning a screw to take out the old one and put in a new one. You can find diagrams on how to do it on the Internet. If you call a mobility company to come out and do it for you, they usually charge about £50 as a Call Out Fee.
The Revos seem prone to this throttle pot problem. Hope you get it fixed soon.
Pride elite traveller 4 a knock when driven coming
hi,
Sounds to me like the worm drive is slipping , this can happen when the worm drive small bearing is worn,
If you do take it a part , please take great care, the shaft from the motor will have a worm drive, two bearings on the worm drive,
Try to move the shaft within the bearings, I paid £10 for replacement bearings.
Please give me a update.
Regards
GeWiz.
Lights work no power
Check you're freewheel lever if its in freewheel u have to take the key out engage lever & put key back in. Also if u have left the key on for more than twenty minutes the circuit will shut down only the light will work. take key out for 5 minutes then put it back it should work unless it's another problem good luck
