hi, you say the voltage is 3 volts each, then it never work , remember it's requires at least 18 to 20 volts to light up.

if a battery measure's below 10v it's normally impossible to charge again as a lot of chargers will not go below this level, you could try a car battery charger to bring the level up however do this with care and don't leave on charge

hi, Are you sure then battery box is fitted correctly ? you need to make sure the battery box is supplying a voltage to the scooter, there is a fuse located within the box however it rare to blow this unless you used a higher amp charger , normally more than 5 amps, this type of charger would be for a 8 mph scooter etc.

IF you have access to a electrical meter plug the two probes into the outside pins of the charger socket , do not allow them to touch, measure the voltage, no voltage then the fuse has gone or a contact has come off the battery

IF you located anywhere near me SS16 then testing is free.

Did you charge the batteries before you used them? if not you need to charge overnite to build up a good charge. If after an overnite charge you are showing full charge but you still get poor performance then you need to return the batteries for new ones. Remember just because they said they are new doesn't mean good They could have sat on the shelf for 6 months or more. Hope this helps

Hi flashing lights 8 times (Controller fault.). if the batteries haven't been used for several years U might have to replace them .U can buy a BATTERY LOAD TESTER OF E/BAY cost approx,$36..this will give U an accurate test on the condition of the batteries ,good luck

They are diagnostic codes to help troubleshoot a possible problem with your wheelchair. The lights blink in patterns. You have to count the number of blinks and what color they are.

Sure. Just slower.
If you remove the motor from a power wheelchair to use in other applications keep this in mind; these motors are designed for PulseWidthModulation Speed Control (apx. 10kHz) with a feedback control to keep the speed more consistent. Feedback and pulsing is key to power and efficiency. If you run them at 12 volts without a pulse control the current to power output is much higher and the I*I*R (I squared times R) losses are higher - dissipated as heat. The motors will run very hot under a load with DC that isnt PWM'ed.
If the use/cool down duration is short you should not have issues.

Owners manual for TDX SP link above.

First check if you have power present at the charging port. If you have power (24 volts) then the batteries and wiring are not the issue. If you don't then check the battery post fuses. These are "L" shaped brackets with a white square fuse held on the positive post with a through bolt and nut. On older chairs these are known to become loose and or blow just when you need power or stop suddenly.
Also check the big Anderson connectors at the power point at the end of the battery box. Check for solid connections. If there is 24 volts here to the control box, next check the controller connector.
If there is +24 at the controller connector but 0 at the joystick charger port you have big issues. Either the traces connectors in the controller are fried or your joystick has major issues.

Hi Mark.

Reversing the polarity:There are 3 wires on the Wig Wag Assembly. (reverse the wig-wag function) simply de-solder the 2 outer wires & swap their position & re-solder.I would seek a price for doing the job from an approved scooter repairer, unless you are comfortable doing the job yourself.I hope this has helped,Colin
