My chemical supply inlet has a checkball and a spring that keeps pressure in check. There must be debris behind checkball. Easy to check by removing the fitting. If faulty and parts not available, plug fitting and add an aftermarket injector from

The problem with the engine is going to be a cleaning of the carburetor. Remove the carburetor and clean you may need a rebuild kit but try the cleaning first. The problem with trigger being held to start, I have herd this problem before and most people just except the fact that this is what they have to do to start. I would remove the pump and clean the check valves and unloader valve. If you are some what machanically inclined you can handle this, but if your not sure you should take this to the shop.If you need parts or just want to see a parts breakdown of pump and carburetor you can go to jackssmallenginerepair.com and go to parts look up and type in your model #. I hope this helps.

Soap injectors are easily clogged or will not work because of design (air leaks will prevent chem from entering if chemical has to be drawn uphill) . They work with siphon action and will only work with very little pressure at the tip but good volume. If your siphon valve has the ball in place, however is missing the fine spring that holds the ball against seat (fine spring holds ball aginst intake fitting), the soap will not be sucked into stream. If ball and spring are in place, try elevating the soap container higher than the opening of the port (gravity feed may help to feed soap into system) . May be better to use an aftermarket downstream injector valve sold on ebay or many outlets. Cost about $20 but work better and are adjustable to save on soap. Search ebay for "Chemical Injector For Pressure Washers" or google "Pressure Washer Downstream Chemical Injectors" Various prices but lower price units work better than factory. Good luck

Easy way to deplete fuel in bowl is to shut off fuel while you are using pressure washer and are about to finish your work. Just run the engine till it quits. Difficult way is to remove nut under the bowl. You might also look into new products designed to pour into tank for storing your engine and a method to displace the water from the pump and infuse oil. Good luck with your unit/
THE UNIT STARTS WHEN I
Make sure the water supply hose SCREEN where it connects to the unit is not clogged. You should get water through the nozzle without the unit running. If your not getting water with the unit off... the water supply hose is full of AIR or the screen is blocked. Loosen the water supply connection and purge the air from the hose (Clean screen if you have not already done so)
If this does not work there is more that can be done with the unloader / bypass valve. Respond here and I will help you AFTER you check the above.

Soap won't siphen on a Honda 160 and I'm
Most of the time this is caused by a clogged inlet valve on the soap dispenser. You need to disconnect the hose from the valve on the pump, then remove the valve and clean it. Be careful as there is a tiny spring and tiny ball bearing in the valve. Notice which way it goes together when you dissemble it so you will put it back together correctly. Clean the spring and ball bearing throughly. Clean out the valve and remove any soap residue. In the future make sure to flush the valve throughly with clean water for at least 2 minutes before shutting the unit down. Also check the filter on the hose your stick into the soap to make sure it is clear.
Engine cuts out when using the pressure washer.
Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly There is debris in the bottom of the float bowl. Remove the float bowl nut and float bowl. Clean out the bowl and bowl nut. Next shoot some carb cleaner into the main fuel orifice located in the threaded area of the bowl nut. There is a pin hole orifice that is brass; has a screwdriver slot in it and it will unscrew out of the brass main fuel tube This should make it handle any loads without laboring. If you still have the problem after this..

This happens when air gets inside the hose. An air bubble of sorts is in the hose and will not build pressure until you blow the air out of the line. Start the pressure washer, turn on the water. pull the trigger on the gun. It will spitter and spatter and come to a trickle. release the trigger on the wand. Pull the trigger again and it will eventually work it self out.
