Water flows thru the pressure washer pump and out

Hi,

Let the water run for a longer time. "Walk" the hoses, from the faucet to the pump and then to the nozzle, holding the hoses up to displace any trapped air in the lines through the pump and out the nozzle. What it sounds like is that air is reaching the pump. When it does, it cavitates, and no water can be pumped. Tighten all of your hose fittings securely. Try holding the trigger down while starting the washer. It may be easier with another person helping.

Is the pump seal bad when doesn't spray /pump well?

The sign of bad seals are water leaking out of the bottom of the pump. The high pressure seals get bad enough the low pressure oil seals will fail as well and water will get into the crankcase. Weak or fluctuating pressure is a sign of a problem with your check valves or seal problems with your unloader valve.

Will not start

Power washers are often not used for an extended period of time. This often leads to the tiny passeges in the carburetor getting clogged with the gummy residue left when the gasoline evaporates. It is usually not old gas in the tank that is the problem as much as the residue left behind when the gas evaporates in the carburetor. Cleaning those ports ( orifices) is usually what is needed. If your machine has a fuel shut-off valve you can save a lot of time , trouble and money by closing the fuel shut-off valve and continuing to pressure spray water until the engine empties the carburetor bowl of fuel and stops. With no fuel in the carburetor the ports will stay clear.

Engine runs for a few minutes then stalls...

It sounds like vapor lock or other lack of fuel. Premium gas will cause detonation and "may" have something to do with it. Drain the fuel the best you can and add regular fuel, after a couple minutes the engine should be burning mixed fuel and if the problem goes away you have fixed it, if not you obviously have other issues.

Craftsman Pressure Washer 2.3 GPM 2550PSi

if there is a fuel filter running completely out of fuel sometimes allows all of the bad stuff in the fuel tank to plug the fuel filter (if it has one). press the primer bulb until you can hear fuel, then it should start.
