Hitachi CS33EB16 16" Rear Handle Chain Saw Questions & Answers
I was wondering if there
The oil pipe is poorly fitted to the oil pump and allows bar/chain oil to sneak past the seal. Buying a new oil pipe may not fix the issue since this is common on brand-new saws. Warranty work probably won't help you.
How I fixed my saw: I bought two small O-rings about the diameter of the oil pump and fitted them to act as hose clamps around the oil pipe. See attached picture. It worked perfectly and now my saw runs out of fuel before oil. Sears/Craftsman have a great video on how to remove the clutch assembly.

just because you brought it 4 years ago does not mean it is four years old thats when you first used it the machine itself could be 6-7 years old

it sounds to me that when you stored your tool up last time may be for the winter
there was still fuel left in the carburetor
what happens is any fuel left in the carb will expand in cold weather and when it expands it stretches the diaphragm inside the carburetor
hence as soon as you touch the throttle it will probably flood the engine making it hard to start
i will need the full information on the make model engine size

Gasoline will not enter squize bulb
The squeeze bulb has two lines connected to the gas tank:
One is the return line. This must not be blocked or gas cannot flow.
The other is input. If this is missing, broken or leaking air (usually a dry joint caused by old brittle tubing) it is time to replace the gas line.
Another problem is if the bulb itself. If it is crackd or not seated properly it will leak air and not fill.
Check all these in turn and replace tubing and bulb as necessary. It is possible to buy a generic fuel line kit - or take it to your local workshop.

Hi,
Did the chain tighten up or is it hanging a bit from the bottom of the bar???
Have you made sure to keep bar oil in it??
If the bar and chain are not getting oil the chain will tighten up and stop....
If the chain has oil and it a bit loose.. it should hang just an 1/8 in. to 3/16 in. at the center bottom of the bar....then the clutch has gone bad already and you should have that fixed under warranty...
