Sir, what is the starting adjustments on a Poluan 2000 Carb

Typical for any carburetor is 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turns (out). These are just rough settings to get the saw running. Remove chain, turn idle throttle speed screw in to increase idle rpms so its less likely to stall. Follow mfg instructions for starting. Once running, adjust low speed mix and allow a couple minutes to warm. Then re-adjust low speed and lower idle rpms by turning out idle throttle speed screw. Then with throttle wide open adjust high speed mix. If saw hesitates from idle to full throttle, open low speed mix 1/8 turn and readjust high speed mix. If saw doesn't fire in 3 or 4 pulls remove plug. If plug is dry no fuel, if wet either no spark or idle mix to rich (or fuel metering may be fouled).

How to adjust bar oil for Poulan 3314

Sorry but there isn't an adjustment for the bar oil. You fill it up when you fill the mixed gas. Usually when you need gas you need oil too. Its a good idea to check the level and the bar. Wood chips can clog the oiler port and the tool will need to be disassembled, cleaned and checked.

One more try before I trash it. I have a poulan p3314 chainsaw. It is 2 years old. Installed new carb, fuel lines, air filter, and spark plug. Fuel is routed properly. Can't get unit to fire. Any ideas.

Check the gap between the magneto and the magnet on the flywheel, if it is too much of a gap you wont get spark. We are talking .007 inches or less. You need a feeler gauge to set this

Seems my Poulan Chainsaw P3314 is flooding.

Ron, the excessive gas could be the result of continued start attempts with a weak spark or a bad plug or a carboned plug. If none of the carb adjustments have not been turned or twisted prior, I'd suggest obtaining a fresh spark plug. Make sure the gap is correct. Blow out the cylinder with compressed air to vent all the residual gas/oil within. Ground the new plug against the engine and pull the cord. You should observe a fairly bright spark at the plug. If no spark you could have a faulty coil/ignition module. If a bright spark is present, install the plug and give it full choke and attempt to start. It should attempt to start within a few pulls....when it does, go immediately to HALF-choke and pull again and it should start.
