Bosch Fna25015 15 Ga Angled Finish Nailer Full Force Questions & Answers
The hammer in the gun is stuck in down positon,
No you need to oil these things even if you don't use them a lot you see condensation from the compresser gets in the gun if you don't have an moisture trap on the air line and even if you do you still put oil in the air fitting everytime you use it. So put oil in the front and back and hook it up to air and if you work it enough it will start working again
NailgunS are not shooting nails Exhaust air only
without having the brand or model number it is hard to determine where or why the air is leaking. but my guess is that there is a worn/cut o ring not sealing properly, get back with me on the brand and model and I will have a better idea of where to direct you.
A constant air flow coming
if this is a Bostitch you would need to replace the trigger valve, if not give me the correct model and brand and I will see if I can find a breakdown for you. In replacing the trigger I have detailed instructions in the tip section.
I own about a one
Usually when you hear the pop of the compressed air and the driver does not move indicates that the driver blade is bent, broken, or stuck due to debris. Remove head and pull cylinder to examine. Parts are not expensice and are available as kit including driver and cylinder with related parts or just the driver. from
WWW.bostitch.com or even ebay. If driver is bent, you can probably make adjustment and get more life. Good luck
My bostitch nailer depth is setting nails to deep
You didn't specify what model but what I would look at is the safety/work contact for being bent and also the air pressure that you are using, The recommended air pressure is between 90 and 110 PSI. If you give me the model number I will check further.
Pressure of the air compressor does not go above
Possible there is leak in the gasket, fault in the belt or motor drive or any leak in the air chamber.
It is also possible that lack of oil in the assembly has faulted the cylinder.
If so you will need to check the bore and reset.

Have a pancake style 2hp ithink small compressor
Theree are TWO common problems that cause this. Usually these have a compression release associated with the pressure switch. If you hear a hissing noise from around the pressure switch, this little valve may not be seating. The very common problem is actually with the main check valve for the compressor. It is often right where the pressure pipe from the compressor goes into the tank... right as a part of the fitting there. Common problems are contamination of the valve seat OR in some cases they have a soft seal moving part like Teflon or other that wears out and leaks. Rings problems are really rare. In a few cases the pumps use a diaphram and those can get damaged, but most 2 HP do not use that type of pump.
