If you have the expertise to replace individual components, it's easy to repair, and inexpensive. Replace DZ1 and DZ4, found under the 2 grey resistors. DZ1 is a 15v, 1watt zener diode, zd4 is a 24v 5 watt zener diode. The copper print may be damaged by the heat, so it will need to be repaired as well. Also, the discolored resistor (R57) may also need to be replaced. It is a 1K ohm 2 watt resistor, replace it with a 1K ohm 5 watt resistor. If you are unable to replace the components and do the repair, the motor controller is easy to find online and replace yourself. One of the most common reasons why these boards fail prematurely, is because people do not turn the machine off when done using. Removing the safety key does not turn the machine off, only the console!! Turn it off by the on/off switch or unplug it after use.. I have replaced numerous controllers that failed when the machine was not even being used at all..
I had this very same problem. I sorted it out this way: the information that Argos supplies says the speed starts at 0.8 kph with a top speed of 14 kph. If your Reebok Edge starts at a speed of 0.5 and has a top speed of 8.8, then the speed and distance is measured in mph, rather than kph. You can check this yourself with the following online speed converter:

hi,
You can find the board in side the teradmill near the motor . There will be some wire in the old board you have to pull out those wires from that board one by one and connect it to the New board. After that remove the screw from the old board and place the new board there.
I have added a video which demonstrate how to replace the motor control board of a treadmill. will help you to do the same.
ok
With the motor cover off and the power on, make sure there is a red light/led lit on the controler, if yes then press the start button then press #3 on the speed side. If not lit, you dont have power to the controller. If you had a red light, and pressed the speed button, the light should start flashing just before the walk belt starts to move. If the speed button is pushed and the light on the controller does not flash, you have a problem in the console. This is only fixed by replaceing the controler.
If its a Icon Health and Fitness branded treadmill (proform, image ,healthrider etc.)The safety key activates the on off switch for the console. (micro switch activated by safety key)Check for 9-12v going to console. Unless it has a magnet switch. What brand and model ?
Check
your wiring and check your ground. If all that checks out then triple
check your control board. Also the motor should have a reset button make
sure that the button is not out and it is fully pushed in.
it needs service
the motor current is to high and jammped.
due to bad belt parts or the motor itself , a tech with turn the parts by hand to see if they or what is jammed.
or gear box there.
get it fixed ? ok:
E2 Error usually indicates that the treadmill is overloaded and applies to various models like TR150, TRX1000 and TR 200. To fix this problem, check if your treadmill motor is overheating. Signs of an overheated motor include; grinding noise, motor produces a burning smell and inconsistent operation speeds.
Usually a spark means you have a problem with either the drive motor or motor controller board became damaged. Unplug unit remove the motor shroud physically inspect the motor and board for any signs of arching then replaced the board. Next use a multi meter to check continuity of the drive motor by removing the red and black leads that attached to the board if a reading is much more than 1.0 to 2.0 ohms then your motor is also damaged need to be replaced.
f the E13 error code is still showing after restarting your treadmill, check to ensure that the wiring between the AC motor drive and motor cables is securely connected. If any of the cables/connectors appear loose, completely power off and unplug the treadmill before unplugging and reattaching the cables.
If the E1 error occurs after the belt starts to move for several seconds, the error code means that the system is not picking up the speed of the motor. This pickup comes from a magnet mounted on the front roller pulley and a speed sensor, or a problem with the magnet.Feb 29, 2016
Hi Chris,Hope so you're doing well, fact that it runs briefly and then flips the fuse suggests a potential overload or short circuit problem. To troubleshoot the issue, start by checking the power source and ensuring that the circuit breaker or fuse can handle the treadmill's electrical load.Inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, fraying, or loose connections. Make sure it is securely plugged into the outlet. Additionally, examine the motor control board for any visible signs of damage, such as burnt components or loose wires.Testing the motor by disconnecting the power and manually rotating the treadmill belt can help identify any obstructions or issues with the motor or belt tension. If you are unable to identify or resolve the problem on your own then download now user guide, it is advisable to consult a qualified technician or contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.Hope so this will help you!Regards,Bryce JuneCEO & Founder of https://trafficriderapp.com/
