House came with a broken treadmill, but the motor/controllerwas still ... pin 13 referenced in the code is the arduino pin, not one on the board.
Sorry to hear you are having these issues with your treadmill, usually when this issue arises it is a very good sign that your Motor Control Board has short circuited and needs replaced.
The best test to perform if you can is swap out the board of a machine you know to be good; Into the machine that is running at top speed at start up.
If you can not perform that test, unplug your machine and remove the main shroud. You want to disconnect all wires from the board, keeping track of where each connection goes. inspect the board for any visual damage, along with the cables for any crimping or damage to them.
Reattach all wires to the board, and plug machine back in without reattaching the main shroud. This way you can also check the board while the main shroud is off, you want to check that the LEDS are on.
Assuming none of the above works, it would definitely be your motor control board that is the issue and needs to be replaced.

1) Try to loose a little the drive belt, for to avoid a higher tension.2) LUBE very well the deck belt, must shure is worn, proceed with the instruction manual maintenance.3) Test the input voltage motor, if there are voltage the motor need repair4) Test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faultyl.See my personal TIPS for HELP.Try to RUN THE software calibration for diagnose, and troubleshootingsincerely. God bless you
If you can remove the necessary covers to find the adjuster mechanism(s) do so and then adjust one side of the belt until it runs true again. Otherwisw get a manual from the Nordic Trac website and follow those instructions.
I had the problem years ago and I contacted NorcTrack and their solution was to replace the entire console for about $400. They wouldn't replace the pads or anything else, all they would do is sell me the new console. That was not going to happen since I had only had the thing for about 5 years at the time. I wasn't going to be putting that kind of money into that treadmill every 5 years or so.
I tried many things and I finally decided to buy a new console pad from the Treadmill Doctor. I think it was around $100. It was easy to replace. I just removed the screws holding the console cover in place, unplugged the wires leading to the lower console pad and pulled it off. The new pad fit exactly into the space the old pad occupied, I plugged it in and it worked. It's still working about 6 years later. I use this treadmill daily without any problems. It's not anywhere near as nice as the new units I see out there today, but it does what it's supposed to do and that's all I need.
The Treadmill Doctor has all the parts you need for this machine at a reasonable price. Much cheaper than Nordic Track.
I had a similar problem. Mine was shutting off and also some of the buttons worked intermittently. I thought it was overheating so I bought a small fan and I even went so far as to drill holes in the cover near the motor so the fan would cool the motor better. Turns out it was the console overlay. I purchased a new one from the Treadmill Doctor since NordicTrack will only sell you the entire console, not just the overlay and they want somewhere north of $400 for it. All I had to do was remove the console cover, unplug the old console overlay, peel it off and then stick the new one on and plug it in and I've had no problem since then. It's been over 5 years now since I did this and if I recall correctly the overlay was around $100. Good luck
1) You must check the flexible cord between display board vs controller motor board, and tight very well2) Try to access to the keypanel and clean with special spray (clean contact you can find in radio schack or computer store).3) Try to Measure the +5Vdc for I.C. including EPROM, ROM, etc.4) And try again.5) Measure if the power supply to display is coming out from the Lower board or Motor controller board. If not the Motor controller is faulty. You must replace it.Use Dvoltmeter.Remember 90% aprx the Motor controller board access to the function in the display board, elevation motor, power input, etc.sincerely.
Corrine, That knob is spring loaded. You need to pull it out...Hard. Before you do this ,support the walk board/deck frame. It will be free to fall down after hou pull the storage/locking pin out. You need to pull the pin out and hold it until the walk board clears the upright. Then be carfull and lower the walk board/deck/belt. Hope this helps.Matt If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/matt_8dbc24bf722649ac
see the video and fix it. God bless youHowever adjust the REED swtich, see the diagram , test for open or faulty. Clean it. And tight the ribbon cable for keypads +connector from reed switch.Replace old batteries by new ones with alkalines and clean the contacts batteries with c. cleaner very well.God bless you
they have a small switch Red in lower part to the side to the power cord.see you instruction manual, or download free www. iconservice.comGod bless you
1) lube the deck belt, according the maintenance routing2) lube the rollers bearing3) measure the input voltage motor, if there are the motor need repair4) measure the output voltage board, if there are NOT the board is faulty.see the blockGod bless you
First evaluate your outlet. Is it a dedicated circuit for the treadmill? Is the wiring stabbed into the back side of the outlet? Are there any outlets in the circuit between the treadmill outlet and the service panel? If either of thelast 2 are "yes" the wiring needs to be reolved/ upgraded. Wires cannot be stabbed into the back of the outlet and expected to reliably handle the load of the treadmill. So any outlets in between need to have the wires placed under the screw heads of the outlet. This will usually resolve the situation. The reason is the stab ins are not sound connections and are a location for a voltage drop. When that occurs, the motor draws more current to compensate, and at a certain point, the breaker trips on the treadmill.
The activation number is 1-866-608-1798, You will need the model and serial number to get it activated.Hope this helps. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/matt_8dbc24bf722649ac

Hi, yopu have a loose belt or a bad front roller, remove the hood(front cover), and start and run the treadmill. Get on it and watch to the left where the belt is, you are watching to se if the front roller is stoping when you walk on it. Most likley. you have a stripped plastic pully on the front roller. The belt and the pully turn fine, but where it is pressed on the steel drum (roller), it just spins. You need to replace the front roller.
