What could the problem be for this? Have a treadmill that's been outside for a while. The cord was chewed up and I have replaced it, but it goes on for a couple seconds then turns off. What could the

If it was outside, was it under cover? If it was not, then the console circuitry are corroded and not fully up to themselves. If it was under cover, same thing can happen. temperature and humidity, moisture and cold can also impair the performance of the unit. It may be a difficult problem to trace unless you can open the console and see for yourself the state of the printed circuit board/s. If it looks like silvery powder around the IC's (integrated circuits) pins, then tht's some air and moisture damage. If you live by the sea, same thing will happen on appliances left outside. And to find the cable chewed, looks like it's been outside for a long time and may definitely have rust on the circuit board, in other words - moisture damaged. If there is no silver rust (powdered ash-type rust) and the printed circuit board looks clean, then try and locate the treadmill manufacturer or its supplier websites and email them the problem you're having.

Motor runs, but speed control

Hi, press the Stop and the Speed Up keys down while inserting the safety key this will get the into calibration mode. The next step is to press the Stop key one time. The Time window should read EP:2P. Some newer models may also say FP, Pass, or the like. This means that it passes the EPROM test. if it says 2F, FF or Fail then the upper console needs to be replaced
Press either incline key and the incline will calibrate automatically.
BE CAREFUL, THE TREADMILL WILL RUN AT FULL SPEED IN THIS NEXT MODE! DO NOT STAND ON THE WALKING BELT. Press the Speed Up key and hold it down until 85 is shown in the Distance window (some models may show the 85 number in another window
If the belt does not move in this mode then the controller board is defective and needs be replace.

My ten year old Health

First be sure there is power at the outlet. Check that the power switch is on, and the circuit breaker is not tripped (beside the power cord).
Remove the hood and inspect the wiring. (unplug the machine first). Ensure that all connectors are tight and none are burnt. At this point if all appears to be OK, look for lighted LEDs on the power PCB. If all is dark, replace the power PCB ( approx $100). If the LEDs are lit, you may require a console, or the safety key switch might be defective. To check it, the console must be removed and the console base removed. Inspect and test the micro switch.
The console is no longer available.
