usually this means your motor control board (mcb) is damaged . remove the motor control box from under the hood remove the mcb from the box and check for damage and/or electrical burn smell . there is an overload resistor that usually blows up this is due to an overload caused by the issue you described or too much friction between the belt and deck board . if damaged you will need to get it repaired contact glide fitness products in santa ana california 1866 637 4600 for all details, i have had them repair many of them , it cost $200 plus shipping which is a deal considering a new one is $1000 if you need to send it for repair , remove the wax board and small electrical componet on outside of box and put in a safe place as you will need to reinstall them on new box

I have a LF 95T treadmill that won't power on...no
it could be a simple solution where the power cord connects to the underside of the treadmill, there is a clip with a screw , sometimes this get loose and the cord slips down just enough to lose contact push the cord back up and tighten the screw
if not this check the plastic connector where the cord plugs into the treadmill it may be actually broken good luck
I have a life fitness
one of two possibilities
one unplug treadmill ,open up the hood and make sure the main power plug on the motor control box is inserted properly then power up treadmill and see if problem is solved
two , the motor control board (mcb) is burned up, the most common cause of this is lack of waxing causing too much friction between the belt and deck board . if you have an auto waxer they clog up if not cleaned at least once a month
if this is the issue a resistor on the mcb usually is burnt
you can check this by removing the mcb out of the steel box , you can usually see the damage and/or smell the burnt electrical odor
if this is the case you need to get the mcb repaired contact glide fitness product in santa ana california 1 866 637 4600 to get all details and options, they have repaired many for me . be sure if you do this that you remove the wax board and small electrical unit on the outside of the box and put them in a safe place as you will have to put them back on the new box the cost is $200 which is a deal considering a new one is $1000 note that glide has a non clogging wax available to resolve this friction issue
good luck
Need to know where motor
your motor controller board is the electronic board inside the steel box under the hood. the usual problem is a burnt up resistor which will be easily to see if you remove it out of the box. if it is the board you will have to get it repaired or replaced. the best and cheapest repair would be to call glide fitness products in santa ana california 1 866 637 4600. they have repaired many for me . the cost is $200 plus shipping , a deal because a new one is a $1000. note that if you send it in make sure you call to get a return number first as well as remove the wax lift board and a small component on the outside of the box and put them in a safe place until the new one arrives ,then put them back on . the entire box complete with the motor controller board and capacitors go back for repair . they will actually send out a repaired one if in stock to save you down time which is great but make sure you send the old one back or they will have to charge you . get all details from them before you do this
the reason a board burns out is usually because of friction between the belt and deck board if you have a treadmill with an auto waxer make sure you clean the wax spray nozzle every month they do plug up alot talk to glide they have a great non clogging wax to eliminate this issue
good luck

These units run on a standard 125V plug and are designed for home use. I would not see any reason why your system could not handle it unless your on a special circumstance "have a very old home" or your system is "too old for todays standard", Sure I would see some concern as well as this is a huge machine but should run on a standard 125 V system.
Lets say its 220V diffrent type of plug this would not let you to even question weather you can plug it in or not because you could not you would need a 220V that is just a example. Example below of 220V
Even if it was a 220 plug you can have a 22v system put in by a eletrcian with no issues. But if it has a 120V plug you should be fine just do not plug it into a power strip but direct ino he wall outlet.

If its growling then the incline motor is on its last leg. All incline motors have some degree of noise my only suggestion is if their is a Gym in area call them and see if they have Life Fitness treadmill don't worry if it is not the same model.
The motor have not change much you should be able to gage noise level on a few of the units.
They do not have a total mileage or hour usage if this unit came from a gym a loose figure of 20 to 25,000 miles or 3 to 5,000 hours give or take.
