Proform 585 treadmill touch buttons on controlm panel dont work when pressed

Sounds like your keypad is bad. If you want to replace it try a google search or the MFG. They are usually higher priced but best option to find keypad.

1) lUBE THE deck belt vs deck, this produce shut down for to protect the treadmill in your electronic system2) lUBE The rollers bearing very well.3) Measure the input voltage motor , if there are voltage, the motor need repair.4)Measure the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty.see the diagram attached.6_15_2012_11_12_25_am.gif6_15_2012_11_13_00_am.gif

My proform tl 585 is

Take the cover off and inspect the wiring. Make sure all the wires from the incline motor are connected.
If all the wires are connected and everything looks OK, try the incline again.
There are only 3 wires on the incline motor, red, white and black. This machine does not rely on any electronics to operate the incline. We know the motor works, because it will go up..Likely the switch in the console is defective.
To lower the incline, reverse the black and red wires, that will make up go down and vice versa.. If that doesn't work, the motor is likely defective.
The incline motor is available, around $110. To order find the model number on the frame of the treadmill and call the service number found there. Have your model number ready (starts with "P").
The console is no longer available.

I have a Proform C

Dear Sir:
Hello , i want to help you:

1) You must check the receptacle is there are Voltage missing.

2) You must check in according with Treadmill is the machine operate in 115V- or 220-Volts AC, 60 hz.

3) You must use some VOM, for the check the voltage if you can not operate the VOM, you must check the plate in the Treadmill what voltage are using 115 or 220V, you can use some Lamp for table tha work with 115 Volts, for to proof. If the lamp doesnot light, some Breaker or Fuse is Open. Check the circuit closing the Breaker or replacing the fuse.

4) After you checking what voltages are using , you must conclude if the voltage in receptacle is o.k or improperly in according with the voltage of the Tradmill.

5)If the Voltages are O.K you must check in the Plug is some wire is loose, or contacts corroded.

6) Must check to the wire is broken from the plug .Replace or repair.

7) Check is the fuse or breaker of the machine is open. Replacer or testing again.

8) If there o.k You must check the rely or contactor from motor, if that corroded or dirty, for to clean or replace .

9) Check finally the motor , if work in 115 or 220 Volts, maybe some Animal byte the wires, and open the same, Replace the wires or repair.

Inform me if that o.k or i can help you more.

sincerely.

I have a proform 585

Hello,

If you had the speakers working before, and now dont........you can take the console off and hope to find a broken wire or disconnected somehow, but you might check into a new console. All of the components run into a circuit board, and the speakers are most likley OK, it the board that freaked out.

Hope this was helpfull.

Hello! I have a proform

More than likely it has blown a fuse on the power supply. There should be a small glass fuse on the board. Replace this fuse.

Haven't used my ProForm 585s

Hello,

Your on the right track. If power is coming from the wall, it goes through the circut breaker ( red switch next to the power cord entrance), then it goes to the motor controller, the up to the console switch at the magnet/kill switch. To verify that you are getting power past the circut breaker, remove the motor hood. You can now see the motor controller on the left ( opposite the motor), it will have a red light on when it has power. If you dont see that light check the circut breaker.

How do i tighten the belt on this product ?? it

Hello,

The belt is adjusted at the rear of the treadmill, On both rear corners there are plastic covers with holes in them. You should have a allen wrench that came with the machine. You turn the screw clockwise to tighten, it should feel snug. Next start the treadmill and watch the belt, it will go to one side or the other. To center the belt, you need to tighten the side that the belt is CLOSEST to. Turn it only half a turn at a time until watching it moving, it stays in the center.

You should not have to do this often, The manual says about 1.5 inches of deflection t the edges of the belt. Tight is good.

Hope this helps If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/matt_8dbc24bf722649ac
