This is a situation the controller board motor is Faulty. They controlled the console CPU BOARD. with 8-12VdC For CMOS Circuit.,this board has 3 control power supply Some IGTB is faulty: 1) Main motor 2) Elevation motor 3) Console Control HOwever tight the connector coming from controller board motor to the Console very well, and clean it. the belt has two rollers the front one has a motor roller adjustment screw like the one on a car alternator; tighten this screw untill the rolller grips the belt.

You must observe 3 things: Open the cover from motor 1) See if the Drive belt or belt for motor is Loose? if does, adjust the 2 bolts for tension belt motor the deflection will be 1/8" 2) or Too tight loose the 2 bolts , and loose little until you have deflection for 1/8" and tight the bolts again, keeping the deflection for 1/8" 3) See if the belt is Cut!! replace it, by new one. The treadmill is set for kilometers, not miles. With the stop button pressed, insert the safety key/magnet. This will display miles (or Kms) and hours of use. There will also be a "M" for metric or "E" for english, or miles. Use the speed up/down buttons to adjust to "E".

You'll need an entire new console for that. They are very expensive but can be found at iconservice.com

Sounds like you have a bad motor controller. If your machine is over 7 years old you'll also need a new walking belt.

The circuit board is fried. It's too expensive to have fixed if the warranty is expired. You can try and find a used display from ebay or craigslist. It would be an easy swap.
