Golf Cart Parts & Accessories Energy Displacement Resistor For Club Car Electric 1998-02 48-Volt - Page 2 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I have a Condor (grasshopper SE junior) golf cart have a scraping noise from the back of the cart it is the same in forward and reverse. It has RUPU transaxle and a 1,000 watt motor 24v in series
Try some simple checks first. Take a good look underneath the cart to check there is nothing trapped underneath like a stick or something else. Sometimes it is as easy as that.
Is the scraping a metallic grinding or a deeper rumble? Is it an even constant sound or a 'On-Off' repeating noise? Constant suggests a bearing or something rubbing. An 'On-Off' sound could be something has bent or warped.
If you can, chock the front wheels and Safely raise and support the rear end. If it has a neutral or a 'Freewheel' select that setting. Turn the rear wheel by hand and listen. Repeat this on the other side. This should give you an idea as to which side the issue is on. If the sound is both sides it could be an issue with bearings or gearing on the gearbox.
Working one side at a time, remove a wheel and check the rim or tyre isn't rubbing in the wheel arch.

Tour Trek Golf Cart. How can I adjust front wheel alignment?
On my tour trek (no other model info, just tour trek on the shaft), there is a steering adjustment. The engineer hid it well. The front bolts that secure the axle to the U shaped bracket are also the adjustment. If you spin that bolt and let the nut spin with it, the bracket will move in and out. You may need to loosen the nut first to give it some play. In the picture, it is the bolt on the bottom. There is a threaded piece inside that has angled sides that does the work. When you get it where you want it, put a wrench on the nut to secure it.

1973 E-Z-GO Golf Cart. Why does my plug wire get so hot?
Plug wires should low ohms and if its old or pinched/otherwise damaged it could be creating resistance which would create heat. The stop and start coukd also be wire damage and luck. There can also be an issue with the voltage regulator causing the start/stop issue as older ones had heat effected spring steel relay switch designs.
start with fresh plug wires and plugs. Be ready for a possible coil but typically if a coil is firing hot it would heat both wires and the issue may go a step farther back and include a regulator or ballast resistor if so equipped.
Keep it simple: plug wires. They are readily available for that model online as are plugs, coils, igniters, etc.
there even repair manuals if you wish to go that far.
