Tour Trek Golf Cart. How can I adjust front wheel alignment?

On my tour trek (no other model info, just tour trek on the shaft), there is a steering adjustment. The engineer hid it well. The front bolts that secure the axle to the U shaped bracket are also the adjustment. If you spin that bolt and let the nut spin with it, the bracket will move in and out. You may need to loosen the nut first to give it some play. In the picture, it is the bolt on the bottom. There is a threaded piece inside that has angled sides that does the work. When you get it where you want it, put a wrench on the nut to secure it. 16462574473922713720848674841633-wdqs3iiimdpbdwb35hnkylpq-d-3.jpg

Yamaha g14 gas golf cart. Why does gas blow out carburetor?

It isn't unusual for a fuel haze to hover outside the carb of a high performance engine but a golf cart engine is definitely not that. A more detailed description would have been helpful. On the face of things, it suggests the piston is rising on the compression stroke while the intake valve is still open but slipped timing is very unlikely. The only other time when fuel is commonly blown from a carb is when the engine kicks back during starting and will spin backwards a revolution or two. Over-advanced ignition timing or a lean air/fuel mixture can cause this. If it was ok before the new carb it would be a good idea to revisit that fitment, comparing the settings with the original...

How to tell when too much water is added to a golf cart battery

Firstly is never add water to a discharged battery as the level will rise during charging. If the battery overflows, the sulphuric acid electrolyte causes the sort of corrosion it is difficult to stop or get rid of... Heat generated during charge/discharge and natural evaporation causes some evaporation and adding a little (preferably) distilled water to a fully charged battery If the battery electrolyte has been allowed to fall so much a cell appears dry, begin the recharging process on a low current checking the electrolyte level every few hours; if after around 12 hours the plates still appear dry add about an egg-cupful of water and repeat... Eventually the electrolyte level will be correct - either a quarter to a half inch above the plates depending on the size of the battery or if there is an indicator, level with it. Once the electrolyte level is correct and it has been on charge for a few hours and then allowed to stand until cool the state of charge and battery condition should be checked with a hydrometer. A healthy battery has each cell with a similar hydrometer reading within a very small margin and is close to the gravity of the original fill, typically 1250/1260.

I installed a universal turn signal switch on my ezgo golf cart everything works but the indicator light don't work

As the bodywork is mainly grp make sure the indicator lights are grounded (earthed). This may require a ground wire from each indicator light back to the chassis or wherever the battery is grounded

Melex golf cart start slow then all of a sudden a jerks and goes fast what could possibly be the problem

If you have gas engine it could be converter belt. video below has some maintenance tips and one of them talks about converter belt issues, mainly not having the proper belt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhNk5U8ofqo If it does use a converter belt It could also have issue with the drive or driven converter. I have had problem with Kawasaki mule driven converter which is the converter the belt rides on for the transmission. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnB_KACRjuw

Can't get gas in the carb. on a yonghe go cart

Check to see if the carb is gravity fed or has a fuel pump. If it gravity fed then trace the line back to the tank checking for an obstruction. Make sure there is no obstruction in the tank. Flush the tank and lines. If it has a fuel pump, make sure it is working properly. If fuel is at the carb. then you may have to clean the carb and adjust the float.

What will cause a 1993 Ezgo golf cart to run good when wheels are off ground and stall out when on ground?

The engine is stalling due to too much load (torque) when it's on the ground. This most likely means a problem with a clutch or it's gearing.
