Hey, the Netopia routers do not have a default username and password. If a password is already set up, you might need to reset the router.
In order to log into the router you need to Telnet into it.
If you are using Windows XP, you can start Telnet from Start>Accessories>Communications>Telnet
if you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, Telnet is not enabled by default. You need to enable it first. You can quickly re-enable Telnet by following these steps:
Start
Control Panel
Programs And Features
Turn Windows features on or off
Check Telnet Client
Hit OK
After that you can start Telnet via Command Prompt. (or the Start menu)
then once you get into the Telnet Console, type in:
192.168.1.1
and the router interface will open up and let you chanfge settings.
