This could be caused by a few things. The cable could have a short in it so try it out on a different guitar. If it works the jack on the guitar could have a loose solder joint. This is usually caused by putting stress on the cable and causing the jack to move.

A lot of Amps come with fuses as a safety mechanism so you don't blow the speaker and/or internal components in the case of a power surge etc. Check for a blown fuse. Sometimes they have a fuse holder in the back of the amp and it is labelled "fuse" which cetainly makes it easier to find. Hope this works and helps.

Does it say "safe" when you power it up? If so, you need to enter the unlock code. It should be in your owner's manual packet. If not, you have to go to the dealership with photo ID, registration, and title. They can look it up based on the VIN number of the car. They may charge you up to an hour's labor, so be sure they write it down for you in the event you have to disconnect your battery again in the future.

When I turn on my marshall amplifier its makes this unusual, anoying sound. it sounds like a small motor or a fan going. the sound of the amp is good but its just makes this motor sound when I switch it on. can you help me find the problem.

Are you using the charging cables that came with it? That is a type C. Are you securely attaching the charging cable? A loose connection would keep the battery from charging. If you had a low battery, you would see a red light. That you have no light at all suggests there is no charge left in the battery. I'm not sure the reset will work with no charge which is why you ought to check the cables first. But turn it off and then hold down the Multifunction button for 10 seconds to reset it. Then turn it back on and see what happens. If you can, test the charging cable on aother device. If you have another type C charging cable, try it, just to eliminate a bad cable. To stop the alarm you have to disable ((all)) the alarms. In (cx-808) you can set 8 alarms; so you have to press "alarm" , then "modify" 8 times. (on the right cornor shows the number of the alarms.)
