You do know the lamp won't light unless the projector has an input source connected? It's not designed to be repaired because there are safety issues in case you put too bright a lamp in, after all it is a children's toy. That said you have 2 options, take out the old lamp, and identify it, that should be fairly easy, or contact the distributors. Contact JAKKS

how did you hook up your connections?

buy another mini projector- go to the store from where you got it, exchange it for another or get your money back

The truth is that the user manual/instruction for your VJ starz video karaoke machine is not available anywhere online. The manufacturers of this unit did not make it available. I went further searching and couldn't find any.

I would suggest you contact the manufacturer of this unit via phone or e-mail and request for the instruction/user manual from them. They might give it to you or direct you to a dealer where you can get the instruction/user manual.
