Watch is not working had watch in window seal for the whole summer still not working

Go to "citizen.com" and on the upper right there is a menu. Click on "technical
support" and then on "setting instructions"

Fill in the information required from the back of your watch and then click on

I wouldn't think it would still be operating after four years in the box! This is an Eco Drive watch (powered by light). I am surprised that you would think it would be operating after four years in the box having not seen any light in that period of time. The instructions should be in the box with the watch. I have a SkyHawk Eco Drive. I found it dead after some number of months in the drawer. I followed all the instructions to get my watch going but nothing happened. After I tried all the things, I contacted Citizen and they provided me with a return authorization number and I returned it to them. They returned it to me in a couple of weeks and it was and continues to run to this day. I leave it out where it can see daylight. There was no charge to me for this service. Now that I have a cell phone, I rarely wear a watch ... probably the same with you ... though my watch was very expensive and is a thing of beauty!

There are two sets of instructions and I suggest that you read both as they may not both tell the story in the same way!

I have a different model than you, but I just kept turning the minute hand around and around and every 24 hrs, the day of the week would change.

Hi,here is a solution to help you out:
1. Pull the crown out one click.
A. Turn dial until function hand rests on "CAL"
2. Pull dial out one more click (should be all the way out)
A. hold down button "A" (top button) until the second hand completes one counter clockwise rotation (should be pointing at current month)
B. Press "A" button a second time and the Day/Leap year hand will move.
3. At this point spin the crown either backwards or forwards and watch as the Day/Leap year hand spins clockwise or counter-clockwise. The Date will adjust per each revolution.

you need to apply more force to enable you remove the stem. I hope you have the stem remover. You are doing the right thing by screwing the stem counter clock wise.
