Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR306059F Wrist Watch - Page 8 Questions & Answers
Adjusting the mode hand of Citizen EcoDrive
This sounds like it has been serviced and the hand was not installed in the correct position. It's an easy mistake to make.
You would need to have the hand removed and reset.
Hope this helps.

Watch did not go to
The watch has a manual adjustment for this operation. It will need to know which time zone you are in and whether or not you want that feature on or off. Not all time zones recognize daylight savings. You can find the proceedure in your owners manual, or you can go on line to Citizen Watches and there is an interactive proceedure that will take you thru step by step! Good Luck! Hope this is helpful!
Did not switch to standard time
As the watch does not have any method to know what timezone you are in and if that timezone observes daylight savings time, this is a manual adjustment. For those timepieces with multiple timezones, each timezone must be told daylight savings time is active or inactive. You can find the adjustment procedures in your owners manual or by Clicking here:

Hope this is helpful. Good Luck!

Unable to set time
The time on this watch is set by changing the digital display time then transferring the digital time to the hands.
1 - Turn the crown until the mode hand points to the time mode [TME].
2 - Press either button (A) or (B) to select the city for which the time is to be set.
3 - Pull the crown out to the second click (3) to enter time setting mode.
4 - Pressing button (A) will change the digits to be set. These digits are the ones that are blinking. Press button (A) to select the digits that you want to change.
When button (B) is pressed in the [SMT] daylight savings time correction mode, DST can be turned ON or OFF.
When button (B) is pressed with the seconds digits blinking, the seconds will return to "00".
5 - Turn the crown clockwise to advance the hours or minutes when those digits are blinking.
Although the crown may be turned in either direction, you should always turn it clockwise to the final setting.
6 - When the 12H/24H selection is blinking, pressing button (B) will turn it On/Off.
7 - After correcting the time on the digital displays, push the crown in to normal position (1) to complete time setting.
i think this may solve ur problem

Citizen Eco Drive watch
The Citizen Eco Drive watches use special recharchable batteries.
I started collecting a couple of watches and I noticed sometimes a jeweler replaces them with an ordinary battery. The watch will work and at the same time it will try to recharge this one until it explodes! In newer models they made it harder to use the non-rechargable ones by adding a special connector or clip to the rechargable battery types.
Okay, if you say your battery goes bad, did you store your watch in a drawer as many people do? It may have lost the charge over time. First thing to try is to leave it on the window sill so the dial is in the sun. It will start ticking, but please leave it out there for 3 days to a week. The seconds hand will tick irregularly in steps of one and two seconds, to show you it wants you to readjust the time, as it knows it has lost time. Adjust the time and it should run smoothly.
The seconds hand should run in single second steps, if it takes steps regularly, but every 3 seconds or so, it tries to tell you that its power level is going down. It will be able to continue for one or two days, but you should get it into the sun more often.
Charging the battery under a lamp is possible, however this heats up the watch and this may reduce battery life.
If you need to know more about the Eco Drive, look for detail tech manuals for all types here: http://www.citizenwatch.com/downloads/tech/tech.htm
Those are great watches as long as you remember it needs light to charge.
When i do a full reset the hands go to 2:50
If you are talking about your stopwatchfunction this is probably the solution:
pull out the Crown(the one with
which you set your normal clock), Pull it out in the 2nd stand.
Then by pushing the 'start/stop' button --> you change the minutes.
By pushing the 'lap/reset' button --> you change the seconds
It worked for me, took me a few minutes to figure it out, hope this does the trick for you;)
The hour hand is not matching up with the digital time
Hi this means that the hour hand has slipped on its shaft, the watch needs to be taken apart and the hand removed and retightened and then reset in the correct position. It was probably caused by a sharp knock
You will need to go to a watchmaker for this
Cheers
Dave
