CyberLink Powerdirector 8 Deluxe for PC - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Righ click then click open.It works for me, but my version is powerDirector 8 De-luxe
When opening to the Burn widow Just bselect andn double left click or sometimes itsa possible toleft click and drag and drop.
I'm not very experienced and I think power director leaves a lot to be desired and we shouldn't have to be reliant on websites for more information.

Once the file is saved as MPEG2 on the hard drive , it needs to be converted to a VOB file in order to burn it on a DVD with a specific burning software .
As converter , i use TEMPEng and among many burning sofwares ( including TEMPEng's burning tool ) , I preferably use NERO .
With Power Director , it' s also possible to burn directly on DVD .

DVD-R disc probably defective. Source for another make of DVD-R disc and try again. DVD capacity matters; how many Gigabytes of data can it take/record/accommodate 4Gb 8Gb

Uninstall the new version that you got and install the old one back... You can go to web sites for vintage software to find it if you don't have the disk.
