First try to clean the interior, removing all the contact spray. It will cause the metal parts to oxidise If you see oxidised parts or contacts, try cleaning those parts. Also check if the contacts of your cabling are still free of dirt and oxide.
Take care don't clean with sharp tools, because toy will damage the contacts, bend repair.

Hi, a waypoint is used to mark a point of interest for location purposes only whether it be for fish, hazards or a boat ramp etc. it is not intended to replace common sense. Your navionics card if purchased will show land masses, shallow waters, channel markers and known hazards. Regards Phil.

Probably time for a new one. Harsh conditions like on a boat causes the electronics to fail after awhile

Check the Positive and negitive terminals It may not be seeing the voltage it needs , I have a strike 7 and it did a similar thing , as soon as the load from the transducer is on it wont load ,, Mine was the dirty Neg cable to the bus bar under the dash

To many possibilities. Low voltage, problem with hydraulic pump, no voltage on hydraulic pump, broken wire, heading sensor etc

Loss of depth reading over 15kph, is usually caused by either turbulence from under the chines of the boat, or that the transducer is toe up, or back end up. If the transducer throws up spray, it is back end up. Toe up is harder to see. Get someone to drive the boat and look overboard. The transducer needs to be flat at the speed you want to see the information, and of course that changes depending it you are trolling or on plane and your trim.

Not marking fish could be a faulty transducer or that the sensitivity setting is not set high enough. Read the manual. I am a Humminbird person :>)
