My Hummingbird PiranhaMax 190c stopped
If it was purchased new, you should be able to get a replacement under warranty. If not, here is a link to the owners manual to troubleshoot it. Check for any frayed sections of the cable around the transducer or damage/cracks on the transducer itself.

Trying to transfer waypoints off lowrance unit got
Hi danshell,
Please follow the below instructions carefully :-
I assume that you have the software installed and your memory card reader or the SD card reader is working properly , and you are able see the removable drive which is relevant to your memory card.
Firstly after you insert the memory card in your device , turn on the GPS system , and then you need to press the menu button two times.
When you do that you need to highlight the setup option , and after that you need to select transfer my data and then press ok or enter.
Now it will ask you to either save or load , here you need to select save.
Then you will find a menu displaying the memory card and the default filename which is data.usr.
when you highlight the save data option and select ok or enter you should get a message as 'User Date Saved Successfully'.
This message confirms, transfer of data to SD card successfully.
Now when you save it successfully , then only you would be able to open up the file from the memory card via the software application that you have.
In case you have any queries , feel free to get back to me.

No power -it won't come
You need to take it apart and look for a open surface mounted fuse, it will be mark with na f for the location on the circuit board.
I have a portable fishfinder
In the menu, increase your chart speed. Your fishfinder has a powerful Sonar, you can not out run it in most cases, but the chart speed is adjustable. Highlight the chart speed and adjust from there.
I have a Hummingbird Matrix 17 fishing system.
Did you check the ground side of the connection? If that checks out there should be a fuse in the unit. You should look at the manual if you have it. If this unit is new to you and the boat sometimes the keypads require you to hold the "on" button in for a bit of time to power up.
Another possibility is the contrast controls are turned to the extreme and you are actually working, but dimmed out. You might want to unplug the transducer and see if the screen does anything.
You would need better testing equipment than the average person has to check frequencies. A radio shop may be able to help if you can not exchange this nonworking unit.
