hello Christine C, posted to USA computer help. first learn that USA computer are not the same as outside USA (laws and such things) I tried hard to learn what this is FX9860G AU best I can tell it is a CASIO Calculator and is NOT a busted PC. the manual is here. read it yet? put in new batteries, most used things with batterie's are for sure batteries NOGOOD now. Press AC first, then hold down the RATE SET % button for 2 seconds, then input the rate and press RATE SET % button again

And you should be away :-)

Is this what you are seeing?

I can't see a listing for that error on the 400 but it usually refers to a full journal memory on other models. Check your manual for the procedure to reset the electronic journal (maybe called EJ). You won't lose any programming or daily sales report info by resetting/ clearing the EJ so give it a try
