Getting Decimal Answers by Disabling WriteView
on the Sharp EL-W516 Calculator
The Sharp EL-W516's WriteView display uses multiple lines to display mathematics as it is seen on a page. Fractions are shown as fractions, exponents as exponents, integrals as integrals, and so on. This makes entering calculations easier, and reduces the chance of errors.
At the same time, calculation results are displayed as fractions (or with roots or pi) whenever possible. Pressing the CHANGE button repeatedly will change these to decimal answers.
If you prefer to always get decimal results you need to disable the WriteView display mode. Doing this will make the calculator display like the Sharp EL-546W when in NORMAL mode. Answers will be given as decimals, but fractions will no longer look like fractions. In general, you will still need to follow the EL-W516 instructions.
Disabling WriteView
Press 2ndF and MATH to enter SET UP. Now press 2 for EDITOR.
There are now two options: 0: W-VIEW, and 1: LINE
Press 1 for Linear display mode to disable the WriteView display, and to get decimals as your answers.
To return to the WriteView display, go through the steps above but press 0 for W-VIEW.
NOTE: It is not possible to have decimals as the default answer form when in WriteView mode.
Perctentage button
Its a secondary function of the digit "4" key (labeled % under the key).
Press [2nd F] [4] to access it.
What is the nCr and nPr button for?
nCr is Combination. It calculates the number of ways you can choose r items out of n. For example, 52C5 is the number of possible five-card poker hands you can deal out of a deck of 52 cards.
nPr is Permutation. It calculates the number of ways you can choose r items out of n if the order of selection matters.
How to find the determinant by Sharp ELW516 Scientific Calculator
Press the MODE key. and press 4 for MATRIX.
To enter a matrix press the MATH button and choose 2 for EDIT. Determine the size of your matrix by typing in the row x column value (maximum 4). Then press =. Type in the values in your matrix. After each value press = to move to the next part of the table. Once your matrix is complete press ON and then the MATH button. This time choose 4 for STORE. Select the matrix name you would like to store your matrix in - for example choose 0 for matA. Now press MATH and press the down arrow key once. Select 6 for CALC and choose 0 for det (determinant). Then input the matrix you want the determinant of by pressing MATH and 1 for MATRIX. Select the matrix you would like to work with eg, matA and press then press =.

System lock of my projector sharp 50s ,so how to unlock?
- Check the Remote: Make sure you have the remote control for the projector.
- Press the Menu Button: On the remote, press the "Menu" button.
- Navigate to Security or System Lock: Use the arrow keys on the remote to navigate through the menu options. Look for a section related to "Security" or "System Lock."
- Enter the Unlock Code: If you previously set a system lock code, you will need to enter it using the remote control. If you haven't set a code before, try the default code (often 0000 or 1234).
- Disable System Lock: Once you've entered the correct code, navigate to the option to disable or unlock the system lock.
