My bottom thread tension is really loose how do i
try adjusting the top tension try 3 to 5
also try another bobbin just incase the bobbin could be warped
also try using a new needle--if it's a new needle with a flat side- the flat side goes to the back of the machine,, if it's a round needle then the groove in the needle should face away from the shaft
My needle keeps breaking because
check the needle to make sure the flat side is towards the back of the sewing machine
if it is toward the back, then it's possible that the machine is out of time
Just got the sewing machine
are you adjusting the little screw on the tension spring on the bobbin case by minute amounts each time? Only turn it a quarter turn each time you change it.
If you do the dangle test, (suspend the bobbin by the thread tail) the bobbin case and bobbin should stay still in the air, but a gentle tug on the case should release thread. Adjust the little screw with the mini screwdriver in your kit until you get it to this point. turn it left to loosen and right to tighten.
Also check that the bobbin is in the bobbin case the right way, page 12 of your manual should show this. Yout want the bobbin to turn anticlockwise when you pull the thread tail. Then load it into the shuttle using the latch on the bobbin case to secure it.
It is possible that the tension spring itself is faulty in which case you can buy a new bobbin case for the machine from the local machine shop, or

The bottom stitch is very loose. I've tried
The bottom stitch is affected by the TOP thread tension :) First go back and make sure your bobbin tension is correct since you adjusted it. It should drop slightly when held suspended by danging it by the thread. If it reels out to the floor it is too loose. If it doesn't drop at all it is too tight.
Now that you have that adjusted look at your top tension. If it is loopy on the bottom side of the stitch the TOP tension is too loose. Increase the top tension.
Now take some scrap material and set machine to a wide zig zag, medium length stitch and sew a bit. Compare the top and the bottom sides of the stitch. They should look identical. Remember the TOP side effects the bottom and the BOTTOM tension effects the top side. Adjust accordingly until they look identical with no loose threads or loops and no puckering (puckering means it's too tight).

sounds like you have the bobbin clutch disengaged. Check to make sure you have flipped it back to sewing mode.
I just got this, trying
Try putting your stitch length lever to its longest stitch, such as 9 or 10. I am wondering if you have it on the buttonhole stitch, by accident. If, this does not work, I would take it back to where you bought it.
Top thread is way too loose. I've tried adjusting
A couple of things to try:
1. When you pull on the thread at the needle does it pull through without any tension? If so unthread it completely and rethread it again.
2. If there is resistance but you're thinking it is too loose because of loops in the stitch check your bobbin tension is too loose.
3. If the problem is with the stitch and there seems to be tension at the needle itself, and you've checked the bobbin tension, check the needle. Make sure it is the right size and type and that it is in correctly

One thing I would try is, take a screw driver (short stubby straight) and open the throat plate under the presser foot, you may be surprised that a lot of lint is there, resembling a piece of felt, sort of, that should not be there. Clean it out and lube your machine as per your manual. Change your needle and rethread. Another thought is that the belt for your machine is disengaged, then you have to take the cover off and check that. Good luck to you, I hope that I helped. Happy New Year
