My kettle keeps blowing the

If the fuse in the mains plug or MCB at the consumer unit / fuse box keeps tripping then there probably is a fault in the kettle element or switch. If the RCD is tripping (the safety device with the test button on it) then there is an electrical leak either due to a crack in the element or water has got into the wiring, switch or power cord of the kettle.
Allow the kettle to dry out in a warm place for a day. Also check it at another power outlet to eliminate any problem with the outlet you are using.

Toaster: Dualit Domus DLT44... First one side now the other.. Dead!

Question edited for clarity, added full stops as Fixya removes formatting and line breaks. Question moved from Cars and Trucks to correct make category. The latching is normally dependent on the element working. If you have a multimeter, test continuity of the elements. replacing them is normally not easy as domestic toaster use crimped wires direct to the elements cassette. I have a brand new one in my garage for a Black and Decker toaster with 18 crimp wire tails. I used Dualit and Rowlett commercial toasters at my hotel in Cornwall, England, and they were easy to repair, but Domestic toasters are really a non repairable / replacement option. Ask Dualit what they think? https://www.dualit.com/support/domus-4-slot-toaster ..

My Dualit toaster doesn't heat hot enough. The heating elements don't go red anymore. I have model 2SLUS product code 20293. Thank you

The heating element went out. This can happen on one side of the toaster or both. Your toaster is toasted!!

Dualit kettle switch is faulty. How do I get the switch out of the kettle?

you need to take the bottom off the kettkle and then you will be able to get to the back of the switch and see how its attatched and remove fasteners as needed and one end of the wires will need to be taken off. dont throw anything out until you look at the new switch because sometimes you dont get some little attatchment and then u will have the old set-up. hope it goes well. let us know how you do.

My toaster only toasts one side - is it the rocker switch or can 2 elements blow at the same time

they can blow at the same time turn the toaster on without toast and see if both elements light up if not consider a new toaster as the element and repair costs will exceed a new unit
