There are appliance replacement cords in the electrical section of Lowes & Home Depot. Make sure it is rated for 1200 watts. I hope it would be 12 gage but if its 14g and is rated for it, you'll be ok. The thicker the better, 1200watts is a lot of power. If in doubt compare the new to the old. They should be the same thickness. 12g is thicker than 14g.

you have problem with the high voltage circuit in the microwave. first you need to know if it is a transformer type or inverter type. if its a inverter type then you need to check your magnetron and inverterboard also confirm if the relay on the main PCB is turning on when you press start button to cook. If it is a transformer type then check the following: Check the High Voltage Fuse, it gets open sometimes Check the magnetron if it is leaky to ground. Check the High Voltage Capacitor, it may be short to ground or across the terminal or across the terminal. Check the High Voltage Diode, it may be short across the terminal or leaky diode reading also check to see if there is any sign of spark on the end of the terminal. Important check is to see that the relay on the main PCB triggers when the start button is pressed. Try this, if you cant then ask a friend with electronic knowledge to help you out with the diagnosis ? Thanks Ashwin

Depends on the extent of the damage, disconnect unit from the power supply and be ready to use a lot of elbow grease. First use detergent that can clean grease. Do not use abrassives. You keep cleaning with Easy Off Bam or similar. If still looks aweful, decide to keep or change.

I actually not had that happen before but , when and sometimes I turn it on any number it goes 10 seconds then beep! even when I pressed it longer than 10 seconds , but I don't know but on mine theres a paper there on the side or something metal that tour or broke but , it may be that.
