DeLonghi Magnifica 3300 Espresso Machine Questions & Answers
Delonghi magnifica door won't stay shut
Could be the brew unit pushing the door open because there’s a coffee build up in the spring loaded chute that directs coffee from the brew unit to the outlet. Result is that the chute is jammed.
Needs cleaning. Might need disassembly. Be prepared to throw up. Mine was moldy.

Water indicator light keeps coming on, even though tank is full. Unit stops brewing mid cycle and indicator light comes on.
Do you mean the "Fill Tank" message? If so, I found the problem to be the magnetic switch triggered by the float in the water tank. Please confirm the message you see and I can provide more details.Ok, it sounds like your unit might have the same problem mine did. I posted some of my findings in this thread:http://www.fixya.com/support/t1898311-water_container_full_but_low_indicationAdding a magnet to the float helped for several months but then the problem came back. I found the root-cause to be the 'reed switch' (see picture in the other thread) and when I replaced it, it worked fine. Replacement parts like these are often available through web-sites (e.g. http://www.ereplacementparts.com)

How to fix error message less coffee
Mine has done this on and off for about a year. I saw on another post that beans may be to oily. I think that may be the solution as I have gotten different beans (not oily) and it seems to have taken care of that problem. How ever.....no frothing steam, leaking water internally and not pressing the coffee pucks like it used to. maybe just time for a new machine. Any suggestions?

This is difficult to describe but my delonghi
It might be a normal cleaning cycle or flushing itself out. You don't mention whether it's not working anymore, so is it just that the sounds and lights seem concerning, or has it actually stopped working?

Delonghi Magnifica 3300 doesn't make coffee, only wet grounds and water in the grounds container, everything else seems normal
Hi JB, not sure if you've junked your 3300 machine by now or had the problem fixed already. Nevertheless, allow me to share with owners of DeLonghi Magnifica Espresso machines who encounter similar problem to yours. Incidentally, mine is a Delonghi Magnifica 3200 which is very much the same as the 3300. Firstly, try to ascertain if the pump is working normally. When the machine is ready to brew coffee, turn ON the steam/hot water knob and see if it pumps normally and for more than 30secs at least. My machine could pump for short durations between 5secs to 20secs max before the water light came on. I checked the flow meter connection but is all seemed well. I noticed signs of water leak (dried up chalky water stains) where the steam wand exits the control panel. Upon opening up the control panel, I noticed a larger patch of dried up water stains on the wand valve assembly. Bought a set of steam wand assembly replacement and to replace the leaking one. It's been some six month now and I'm enjoying my daily cuppa again. Btw, my Delonghi Magnifica 3200 has been serving me well for 10 years! Apart from the steam wand replacement and a faulty micro-switch, I only had to carry out the usual descaling and replacing worn out O-rings.

Delonghi Magnifica My steam arm drips when I make coffee.
I initially replaced the o-rings in the pipe/valve assembly. It didn't work for long (not correct size o-rings probably). I then bought a new pipe-valve unit. To replace you need to pry off the stream handle (chromed plastic). It only fits one way on the axle (so take notice when replacing!). Then remove back and side covers (6 screws all at the back). Then remove top (2 screws each side at the front and a couple at the back). Then the front panel should be lose. (Instructions based on a slightly different model)Mine made better coffee after I fixed the leak! A large portion (perhaps 25%) of the water intended for the coffee went via the steam wand straight into the drip tray, which is not good.

Delonghi magnifica door won't stay shut
I had this problem. The door didn't snap when I shut it and it would pop open and stop the brewing. It was an easy 5 minute fix.
I removed the drip tray and the black plastic bin where the spent coffee grounds are expelled. With a flashlight I could clearly see 1/4" to 1/2" caked coffee grinds lining the back of the cabinet at its base. This residue kept the bin from seating correctly. Because the bin wasn't all the way back into the cabinet it put pressure on the door and kept it from latching. I cleaned out the buildup with a small spatula and a brush and the door latched perfectly again.

The grinder on my DeLonghi seems to be stuck. It
Likely a foreign object is blocking up the grinder. Remove all beans and
run at coarsest grind to try to clear it, chase it through with more
beans if necessary. If this does not clear it then the top burr of the
grinder assembly can be removed after disassembling the machine. Mark
the grinder coarseness cogs before moving them to assist reassembly.
Moderately difficult procedure.
