I had the typical issue

It would need to be checked at the main board to see if the sensor is ok. then the wires need to be checked one by one from the sensor to the main board to see if there is a problem with a wire inside the cabinet (non repairable).

The Ice machine wont produce ice.

here are some things to try first before calling repair person. unplug the unit, if you can remove the unit , do it., IF NOT, JUST REMOVE THE ICE TRAY UNIT, leave unplugged for 30 minutes. make sure the water is following, see if you get cold glass of water, this means the system has water, and IF NOT, check the line frozen or damaged, after 30 minutes plug the unit back in, install the ice tray properly secured in place, make sure the leaver flush against the ice maker it may take 1 hour or more and go look see if it producing ice if it is not producing ice than call a repair person.

How do I get ice from model #E128BS561S5?

25297176-1xulv4qsxv1r1rrcaio2eatt-5-1.jpg I hope this page from the manual helps. It might be that you must hold down the button for 3 seconds as stated in the manual, or a stuck bale arm. Otherwise, it may be a bad feed valve to the ice maker.

Electrolux Ref. 3yrs old. ice maker will not make

Hi,either your fill tube is clogged or the water valve in the back of the refer has failed. Go to the back of the unit, if my memory is correct the yellow hose is for the ice maker, at the water valve disconnect the 1/4 hose from the valve to the ice maker only, place valve in a bowl, cycle ice maker. If you get water, fill tube is obstructed, if not water the valve has failed and needs to be replaced.Good Luck I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gere_bf68e6055dd61249

Ice Melting towards the front of the ice hopper

Check that the fan motor wiring has not been disturbed. If the freezer fan is not working, the fridge will generally start cooling but due to poor air circulation , it will stay colder at the back but will get warmer at the front hence causing the ice to melt. The usual temp for a food compartment is around 4 degrees. The freezer should be -18 degrees celcius.

Power outage while away caused

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.

The cooling fan Inge the freezer is not running

Hi James, thank you for your question! If the cooling fan is not functioning properly, then your refrigerator could possibly be experiencing a seal system issue. Let's try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the unit on. If the issue persists, regrettably, this is not a simple DIY job. I would strongly recommend connecting with a professional to narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be the root cause. You can often locate a qualified service provider through the manufacturer website.
