I think you can use the channel up arrow and it will go into an auto-scan mode. At least that's what I was able to do when I was having my problems with the cable/sat now working. I had to find a way to get it into Cable mode vs TV mode. I think if your tv is in TV mode, this might work. worth a try at least.

TV codes aren't set by the TV. They're set up by the remote control manufacturer, so the codes for your brand may vary with the remote. What you'll need to do is look at the instruction sheet for your control, or visit the manufacturer's website, to find the Quasar codes for your model of remote. You can also find out how to use the code search feature built into most remotes if you can't find a working code.

try adjust screen up, in you see horizontal line in bottom, the tv have the vertical ic with cold solder or bad.

Just a word of thought. Make sure your remote control is not pointing at the TV. Ive seen this many times. A faulty remote control sending out random signals to the TV due to fluid spillage in the remote. Try keeping the remote well away from TV and see if it still changes channels. If not, check the channel up and down buttons on your TV. Do they feel faulty when compared with volume buttons etc? If so, you might have a channel button on the TV that is half stuck in. Hope this helps :)

there could have been a power surge which has disabled your tv. Are you covered with insurance? If not, contact your electricity supplier and see if you can claim the repair thru them.

SOMETHING IN YOUR PCB BOARD WAS LOOSE CONNECTED. REVIEW THE THINGS RESOLDER THE PCB BOARD IN AUDIO CIRCUIT.

Thank you, but I have resolved the problem, I read some complaints that sound close and tried plugging in the input jacks from the tv to the converter box and the picture and sound came on...oh what a relief and thankful
