How do I get free local TV over-the-air stations?
The Quasar VV-2002 only has an NTSC (analog tuner). Very few stations with NTSC transmitters are still broadcasting. Only low-power stations were allowed to continue broadcasting an analog signal. Unless you are very close to one of the transmitters, your TV will not tune in the station.
You'll need to connect the TV to a digital-to-analog over the air converter box. (The low-end ones that were free or cheap with the government coupon are harder to find; a few models are still available.) These convert the ATSC (digital) signal to NTSC. Then use an appropriate antenna and follow the instructions to tune in the available OTA signals. Send these to the TV either on the RF or composite Line-in. Set the TV to the appropriate input and use the converter box to change channels.

(20" TVs weren't required to have an ATSC tuner until 2007. Since there are reviews for the VV-2002 from 2004, it obviously is an older set.)
Set up for cable
You might be able to restore the factory settings by pressing "play" and "FF" simultaneously and hoding them down until the set shuts off (about 5 seconds). Then when you turn it back on it will lead you through the setup routine, which includes auto channel select.
Plan B would be to buy a universal remote.
I HAVE A QUASAR VV2008
The remote model number for the Quasar VV2008 is VSQS1570 and can be ordered from Panasonic at 1-800-221-7262 or Go to a Family Dollar store and purchase the grey RCA universal remote for $6.00 about 6 inches in length. When you are ready to program it for the Quasar VV2008 push the code search button then the VCR button and enter 0162 then push enter. The red light should go off and the remote should turn the TV/VCR off and on. It worked for me 4/19/2013
How to adjust the puicture
most of these the adjustments for picture are only available by using the original remote and entering the on screen menu.
VCR Tape will not play, it keeps ejecting
I have a similar problem. It takes 3 or 4 times to get my Sony VCR to accept a tape. Once it does, everything is fine, until I turn it off. Next day, same trouble. I tried several tapes and brand new tapes. No difference. I have opened the cabinet and used alcohol to clean various stuff, no change.

Usually, unless a TV was manufacturered proir to remote feature functionalitoes were made. It is expected to be powered by remote controllers acquirable on the market either as the original or likely universal remote controllers capable of acquiring the same functions. If the Tv was incomparticble to remote controlling, acquiring a remote device does not acquire signal transmitioon or broadcasting. Refer to the TV user guide if is available or observe the written areas on reverse of TV to ascertaing the brands, logos that may be indication the TV is compartible to several feature functionalities.
We had power outage when power came back on power
When you have power outtages you always want to have these eletronics in a surge supressor or simply unplugged.
I suspect your having a power supply issue, The power supply is inside the TV, I would not say its a fuse because you do have that blinking light.
1. try to unplug it and plug it back in
if that did nto work your going to need a tv repair shop. You do not want to open this unit if you do nto know how to repair it.
