Replace the power supply or at the very least check for swollen capacitors on the power supply

Yes,the power supply board have a fuse near the edge of the board.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug into it.

I can think of 4 solutions....but what has worked for me is unplug it for 10 minutes then power on but dont push anything ....wait a minute for the computer to re-anylize..then go through your set up menu...hope this helps...Replies are appreciated

sounds like a faulty lcd panel but you will be suprised how many we used to get back where it was something simple like the wires not being connected to the power supply for the screen. the lcd panel is very expensive to replace, nearly as much as the tv itself.

First place to look will be the power supply module.

This is the Power Board for it. check those 6 electrolytic Capacitors on the right for bulging or splitting. Don't buy it blindly, it's a guess. It can't be done. The DVD remote will be single frequency for that device only and the LG remote for that LG Blu Ray (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy. The only exception is cable and satellite boxes to allow their remote to also control the television.
