Try the old flashlight test, turn off the lights in the room. Turn on the set and flash a bright flashlight on the screen. Do you see the image or is the screen totally black?? If you see the image, then most likely you have a backlight problem. Verify that you have 24V on the power supply for the inverter

Tthe blinking light is a code to give you an idea of what the prolem is. The code is descrived in the service manual for this tv. You would have to do a search on the internet for the service manual there should be a few people selling it. This TV is very simply so it's either going to be your power supply or your signal board. You can get parts for this TV at www.interliquidparts.com

You need to replace the mainboard unless lg has a new software update on the web at LGelectronics.com Just search your model number and follow their instructions or if not try places such as shopjimmy.com for your proper part. Hope this will help.....

the capacitor of supply board is weak.kindly replace the capacitor. the sign of defective capacitor is that its swell form upper side.

Un-plug the set fir 10 minutes then run Auto tuning again, let me know.?

This is the Power Board for it. check those 6 electrolytic Capacitors on the right for bulging or splitting. Don't buy it blindly, it's a guess. It can't be done. The DVD remote will be single frequency for that device only and the LG remote for that LG Blu Ray (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy. The only exception is cable and satellite boxes to allow their remote to also control the television.
