the screen driver can make this fault it sit at the back of the screen. if you change that it should work fine after beening replaced. they can over heat.

check the audio board. also check to see if you get sound out of the head phone socket. if you have sound out of the socket then the pin inside the socket may have been bent and is stuck in head phone sound only. you will need to replace the socket. if now sound out at all then there is a fault with the sound board. can be changed or even fixed if you can see the fault. or are able to test it.
