Sound like you might have a high voltage ribbon going to the picture module arching. Turn the Volume down and put your ear close to the edge of the set and see if you heard a arching or a high frequency pitch coming from the side or top.. Gillight

Antenna hook up

The antenna hooks up at the antenna in coaxel hook up in the back. Same place your cable would hook up to. If you use this for your cable box instead of hdmi then you'll need a cable splitter to attach both.

While watching tv on my 2 day old Samsung 46c650

If it's only 2 days old then take it back to the store where you got it while it's still under warranty.

It is most likely a loose connection inside the tv, or a bad component on the power supply or inverter circuit board.

But, if you take it apart to check, then you will void your warranty.

Return it right away and get a new one.

Good luck and please comment back if this was helpful.

Press volume button down on

The button alignment is off. Your TV is new enough that it should still be under manufacturer warranty and this issue would classify as defective.

How do I troubleshoot my Samsung TV? I have sound, but no picture.

Caps can fail with no outward signs. It takes a special meter to test them. Your set may have a back light inverter that powers the back lights. When it fails, the picture cant be seen, but you have sound, to check this look for a picture on the screen using a flashlight
