My speakers wont work on my pc but work on my ipod
I went through the same thing when I bought a joystick to play pac man on my pc it was from radio shack and said it should work but it did not. sorry some things just wont work the way we want them to. the joy stick is only compatible to the ps program your speakers probably best to stay on the ipod anyhow

click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there

We plugged a headset into
Plug in and out a headphones connector at the female jack many times and it will come to normal after a while. It's a common problem for jacks that are barely used.

Need to know what to plug in where

on the back of yor computer there is a sound card with 2 wholes , one is red and the other id green

click start control panel
administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and
game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X
Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel
sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers)))
also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct
settings there
also

sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box
untick it
if his does not fix the
problem

sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker
volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place
icon in taskbar for any further volume control settings you will need to right
click on the volume icon system select
adjust volume

expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device
(enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is
usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer
to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the
connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a
compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line
specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust
causes static to build up in a computer hope this

For some reason my speaker
The speakers' power supply is damaged.
Could be easy to fix for an electronics-savvy amateur with a soldering iron.
If the power supply is external (a wall cube) you may try to get a replacement one with same voltage and plug, and equal or greater current rating.

Sounds as though the power-supply might be faulty. As you turn up the volume more power is required from the supply and it's not delivering - hence the light fading.
