I have a curtis mathis console tv with a 8track player, casset player record player and a am/fm stereo, mod number on the box is F607 style TC2 seril number 04787814 new in the box never opened. where can i find out its value?

I have a curtis Mathis model number cm19102 . I have no remote. It is stuck on no more than 14 channels. Then the word line comes up on blank screen. How can I get it to get more channels

This fault is called one color predominant screen. The cause might be to its video output card itself. There will be some loose solder terminals around the Green video output transistor. Check this card for any loose solder terminals. Just re-solder all the suspected solder terminals by applying a little more solder, without making any solder bridge short in between adjacent solder terminals. This card can be located at the neck of the picture tube [a rectangular board], will be directly plugged on to the back of the picture tube.

There are several reasons for this ranging from easiest to most difficullt. we will start with easiest....1. Your Right side speaker wire may have an "OPEN" in the line.2. Your "In"-put Device on right side may have a problem. Thus not be the "Out"-put problem.3. Your "out-put" jack on device may not be properly contacting both positive and negative points of contact on the jack itself (Female end).

HMMMM....you have a bad capacitor in the deflection area of your TV. This bad cap will raise the high voltage to a level unaccustomed to the power supply. Eventually this TV will shut down. There are a few capacitors in the vertical circuit that has been a common failure for this set. If one of those go bad it will cause the picture to be stretched at top and bottom. The most common caps that fail and cause this are c303, c309, c310, and c311. I can't find anything in my notes that will cause it to be stretched horizontally for this model. The eeprom ic is also a common failure of these sets. It can cause color problems and all sorts of strange things. If it is only a couple of caps that needs changed, it will probably cost $40 - $60 to get repaired by a tech. It's hard to say what the eeprom would cost, because many sets require a good bit of time to set up after an eeprom change. It could cost anywhere from $40 - $80 to have someone change it.

This problems deguassing coil can't be solved it entermittent problems happening,sometime the coil deguass,sometime don't.I had this tv before,this problems happen to me once in awhile,could never pindown what the parts was dead,I change many parts tries to solved this problems before.I change resistors,capacitors and transistors,never solved the problems.My experience using this tv,when the coil don't deguass,turn the tv off,turn it back on liike 15 mins later than coil well do it deguassing.
