Can lexmark s405 cartridges be re-set and refilled
You can use the Lexmark 100A's or the 100XLA's for refilling purposes (available in Lexmark.com). However, once refilled, it can no longer report its ink level. Also, print quality may not be the same as genuine Lexmark cartridges. Visit the Lexmark website for other ways to save money on ink. Thanks.

Cannot install printer
I had a similar problem with a new printer I just bought. You may need to download the software/driver on-line. My situation is that the software that came on the disc with the printer was encrypted for Windows XP 64 bit and my system is Windows XP 32 (whatever that means!!). When I used the software from the disc, the printer driver would not load, so I went to the website (HP in my case), downloaded the software and driver, installed it, and it worked. I was shocked cuz I really don't understand that stuff, but was happy that it worked! Hope this helps!

Lexmark wi fi printer
If your wireless network is secured, the WPA or WEP security encryption key is a requirement to successfully connect the Lexmark printer to a wireless network. These keys (WPA or WEP), if you don't know it, can be obtained by accessing your wireless router through the computer. Your wireless router manufacturer or your internet service provider can better assist you in obtaining that info. Thanks.

Good afternoon. My Lexmark 792 printer shows error 956.02 at startup when adjusting colors, how can I solve it?
The 956.02 error on your Lexmark 792 printer indicates a system board issue. Troubleshoot it step by step:
Power off the printer: Turn off the printer and allow it to remain powered off for 10 to 20 seconds before turning it back on.
Check the code level:
You can identify the current code level using either of the following methods:
Method 1: Print the Menu Settings Page:
Touch the Menu button on the printer's operator panel.
Select Reports.
Choose Menu Settings Page to print the page.
Look for the code level under Device Information.
Method 2: Use the Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS):
Open a web browser (such as Internet Explorer) and enter the printer's IP address.
Click on Reports and then select Device Information.
Download and install the latest firmware:
If your printer's code level matches any of the following:
For C792: LHS1.HC.P129 or LHS1.HC.P130
For X792: LHS1.MR.P131, LHS1.MR.P135, or LHS1.MR.P135a
For X925: LHS1.HK.P136a
Proceed to download and install the latest firmware.
If your printer's code level matches any of the following:
For C792: LHS1.HC.P131 or later
For X792: LHS1.MR.P135b or later
For X925: LHS1.HK.P136b or later
Contact Lexmark Technical Support for service.

Save the file and extract it to the same directory.
Use the appropriate Authorization Keycode:
