Cartridge error how do i correct this
Clean both cartridge contacts and the carriage contacts. If no avail, replace the cartridge. If it doesn't help, just stop using land phones and faxes and switch to emails. My former organization just throwed away all fax machines and ink printers.
How do I get my scanner to work?
Test scanner powers up - ie light comes on when first powered. If nothing - check your power supply and replace or repair if necessary.
Test data cables by changing cable or changing data port. If the scanner is USB connection you should see/hear a connection warning. If nothing happens - either your ports aren't active or your scanner i/o port is faulty
Check you have only one installation of the scanner in your scanners and cameras folder. If more than one copy - delete the spares.
HP multi function 4500 won't power on
Most likely a faulty power transformer, but could also be a mainboard fault. If you leave the transformer unplugged from mains for about half an hour, then reconnect it and check the following.
If no power up at all = Naffed transformer. You may score one from a service tech, cartridge refiller, or recycling centre. Make a note of the plug colour and power outputs, and get one the same.
If powers up briefly then shuts down = naffed mainboard. Get a new machine.
When trying to print business cards they get stuck in the printer and wont move
Just a quick thought here. Check the paper thickness settings to see if you have a cardstock setting. Some printers need the paper thickness to be set to properly work. Also, when the sheet is printing, place you hand on the cardstock and see if you can help it along by pushing slightly. You may feel and see the obstruction. You can find additional information in the user manual under "Print on special and custom-sized media".

go to you printer control panel, check the settings for the printer you are trying to use. some time when you think you are on the right printer but the computer has put you of onenote or document writer not primary prints.

it can be a few area to troubleshoot this problem, if you did this above and it okay, than go to start and right below the programs list where it say search for files and programs and type the following information.
you can do this one first or last.
after typing printer: go down the list and click on find & fix printing problems. it will take you through questions and answer questions you answer yes or no and what is the issue you are having, it will give generic problem along the lines of the issues you are having.

if you have time and want to learn what is wrong with the printer settings than go to start, go to search for file and programs, type printer, check the following stuff in order may help you. :

2. device manager - make sure drivers are up to date
3. share printer
4. network and sharing center
5 choose homegroup and sharing options

Regular failure of wifi printer to print
Reinstall the printer. It sounds like there is a duplicate IP address problem. The other option is to set the IP address for the printer as fixed not via dhcp.
