eMachines E19T6W 19" Monitor Questions & Answers
Want to restore my computer. How do I do that?
I would need more info to answer that question for you. The title say question about Emachine E19T6W? That is the monitor? What is the make an model of the computor you want to restore?
The screen says no signal , it has three colors red , green and blue. why wont the screen come on.
I'm assuming you have ensured a secure cable connection between the computer and monitor. You should now check your video card. Shut down your pc, undo the cable from back of computer, (remember what "slot" the card it was attached to is in). Undo the lock-in screw mounted above the location you unplugged the cable from. Carefully remove the card by gently pulling directly upward and lightly wiggling forward and back (NOT SIDE TO SIDE)essentially "rocking" the card out of its connector from the motherboard. Clean up the contacts with alcohol swab(s). This will remove dust or hair particles that could partially block the connection of the inserted pins. Usually however your drivers are bad, not installed, have missing files or the bad news is most often it will be the card itself that has a bad channel or overheated same. To fix this you need to replace the card. Many people with lots of exp. in all provinces/states (Can/USA) that can do it for you, and you will pay 50.00 for labor (no more, because the install is ten minutes MAX-then driver updating/software installation is approx. 15 minutes.) Video cards range in price anywhere from 35.00-1700.00 dollars depending upon how much of a gamer you are really. Most cards will handle most video requirements, but gaming DEMANDS A FAST HIGH MEM card. Hope this helps. :) Sgb
Blue ink spot on monitor
That is not an ink spot, that indicates the LCD panel is cracked and the "ink" is the liquid parts of the "liquid crystal display" LCD that is coming out from the broken glass. When you have a broken LCD panel you just need to get a new monitor, the panels are not repairable and to replace one will cost almost as much as a new monitor.
Everything is zoomed in
My E19T6W 19" LCD monitor has a menu that keeps popping up on the bottom right corner of
my screen. Has been doing this continually since I got it. Changes from the eMachine monitor tour to resolution and contrast menus. I keep turning it off and within seconds it'll be right back. For the most part I just ignore it, but recently it has been driving me insane during movies.
My E19T6W 19" LCD monitor
Sorry, I have no solution, just thought you might like to know that I am having the exact same problem.
The only thing I can add is that it appeared after a night that my computer was set to do a weekly upload of Microsoft, anti-virus and anti-spyware updates. Also, that night we had some electrical storms. The menu pops up in the bottom right corner at very erratic intervals and sometimes just flashes, while other times stays on for minutes. It is driving me crazy!
I have tried updating the monitor driver and the video card using the "Device Manager" icon found in the "Control Panel". No luck. I have also ran anti-virus and anti-spyware scans and also used AVG to scan and fix registry errors. No luck.
I am open to suggestions.
Thanks
