Thin blue line on all pictures
Try resetting the electronics to factory defaults. Re the flash - if it continues to stick get it open and leave it like that until you find out just what it is that is causing it to stick. Mechanical issue and do able.
Why won't it turn on?
Electronic components cannot withstand the sudden jolt when a camera hits the floor, ground, etc. It either needs to get repaired or thrown in the garbage.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to transfer pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo management program, such as Picasa.

I had the same issue, droped camera then even if flash is opened the flash was no triggered. As Paul said I found the sensor for sensing the flash position, I made a few trials then I soldered one pin of the sensor to the sensor's case like in the picture attached. Now is working the flash all the time even if it is closed.... opening the flash is manually.... but still better than without flash at all..

If the charge lamp blinks slowly (green)
-battery is charging.
If the light is off
- battery is not charging.
- Also whe charging is complete, the charge lamp stops blinking and turns off.
If the charge lamp flikers (green)
- the ambient temperature is not suited to charging. Cganhe the battery indoors with an ambient temperature of 5C to 35C (41F to 95F)
- The USB cable or charging AC adapter is not properly connected, or there is a problem with the battery. Disconnect the USB cable or unplug the Charging C adapter and correctly connect it again, or chage the battery.
