If the problem is simply that the machine is not feeding paper, you should clean the paper pick up and feed rollers. Typically there will be one attached or above the paper tray(s) and a couple that transfer the paper through the machine to the print drum and fuser. Find them and clean them with clean cloth wet with a dilute solution of dish wash detergent with a few drops of methylated spirit or isopropanol mixed in. If paer then feeds but no print - you have more serious issues.

Have you tried pulling out toner cartridge and shaking it? Does this fix it for a short period. Make sure you are purchasing a quality toner. Thank you so much. Leave feedback and let us know.

Dear It is due to the consumable problem check the following 1- check the drum life> if possible clean the PCR roller with isopropyle alcohol, clean the drum blade. 2- detach the developer assy. and turn the mag roller to check the even flowing of toner, if you are experience clen the doc. blade and roller bushes of the developer assy. 3- check the transfer roller and its contact points clean it with soft anti static brush. E019 means your waste tank is full. In iR1018/iR1020 series copier, waste tank is located at drum unit. First, remove the drum unit from the machine. Second, open the white plastic lid of the waste container. Third, drain the waste. Re-fit the plastic lid of the waste container and re-insert the drum.

This error is related with the laser unit. Disassemble that unit and clean the internal mirrows, if problem persist replace the laser unit

BD detection PCB failure The BD detection PCB is faulty. check laser shutter

E019 0000 Waste toner full detection The waste toner full state was detected.

Main cause The laser driver/BD PCB is faulty (laser activation failure, BDdetection fault). The DC controller PCB is faulty. The imageprocessor PCB is faultly.or drum is faulty.

You can reset it in service mode...

Procedure:

Press the Additional functions
key, 2key, 8key, Additional functions
key sequentially.


Choose:
#CLEAR > PWD and press OK

Turn the printer off and back on.

If this doesn't do the trick under clear choose ALL and ok. After clear all you will loose all data inside!

This sounds like a faulty fuser assy. Basically the machine is warming up but nevers gets to temperature. The lamp has probably blown and for some reason it is not giving any error.

I would put a new fuser in and all should be well.

something is wrong with the fixing.it might be teflon /element or the pressure springs

you have to download system software in copier, it can be done by Canon engineer.

Try this...
Press and hold #'s 1 and 9 and turn the machine On. If the same message on LCD, call service center.

They will upgrade the firmware of the main controller of the machine using Service Support Tool which is available only in Canon.

Hi,
you need to call service because your system is collapsed. Its fixed over service support tool and new firmware.

Pull paper tray out and set aside,
in the back there is white lever above the spring
push lever in ,a black actuator should drop down
if it does not it may be broken or stuck.
The tray select button on the control panel should allow you to use the side tray.
