Line failure is related to power not phone line. What is the exact model number?

The first thing to try would be to disconnect the mains supply and remove the internal battery for a minimum of 5 minutes and then reconnect it.

If this doesn't reset the system then remove the mains supply and battery again for another 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes reconnect the battery.

Then with the help of a friend try holding the # & * keys while they turn the mains supply back on.

These are generic resets for most house alarms but I'll keep looking if there's a specific one for your system so if neither of these work just let me know.

Hi, No, you just change your number in the user settings page.

Press next on the front twice to 'user settings' put your code in.. then you are on the phone number setting as the menu begins, press OK and change it with the numeric pad. enjoy

Hi, I have just had the same problem, now fixed. I found 1 of the motion sensors had a red light on continually.. changed the battery in that, also the door sensor had gone at the same time. What I 'm saying is, it's more than 1 battery that has gone in your system.

If the low battery warning keeps reappearing on your Visonic Powermax PIR motion sensor, it is likely that the battery needs to be replaced. Here are the steps you can follow to replace the battery:

1. Remove the battery cover on the back of the sensor by pressing the tab and pulling the cover off.
2. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly.
3. Insert a fresh CR123A lithium battery into the battery compartment. Make sure to insert the battery with the positive (+) end facing outward.
4. Reattach the battery cover to the sensor.
5. Test the sensor to ensure that it is functioning properly.

If the low battery warning continues to appear even after you have replaced the battery, there may be a problem with the sensor itself. In this case, it is best to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for assistance.

Just guessing but the problem when you opened the case to change the battery. That tripped the tamper alarm. On my system it is part of the BIOS and I need to go in to the BIOS to reset it and or turn it off.
