Have you looked into using an app called 'Push Bullet'? It allows you to send files, links, documents, etc from one device to other; I often use it to send images, and such from my phone directly to my computer, or my wifes phone for that matter. The computer or device you want to send to will need to have the program installed as well but it works very well. FWIW

This is a very hard question to answer without me actually being there to see how it is configured at the moment. If you go into settings, email, calendars, etc, look to see if your password is configured correctly. iOS email is not hard to troubleshoot, but one must be there to see how it is configured now. Tell me this, is this a password issue? Do you need to change your email password? If you have an external email account that is added to the iPad, the password that you configured on your external account is the password you have to use on your iPad. This would be where you would have to go and change the password and then put the password into the iPad. I hope I helped some. Double click the home button to bring up all the open apps on your iPad. They will list in a line across the bottom of the screen. If you are on iOS7 or later you simply swipe the screen shot of the app upwards to close the app completely. Then go back to your home screen and open the app as you normally do. You should try to connect the iPad to your computer, open iTunes and see what it need to do. You probably need internet connection, and should back up if possible.

You can use Mail to access a gMail account. It works best with POP mail but may work with IMAP mail as well, although many prefer using another web client for that (search the app store for alternatives). To set up a gMail account in Mail, you open 'Settings' (from desktop, not from Mail), choose 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' and there 'Add Account'. You can now choose 'Google' and set up your account, which wil show in Mail afterwards.

You don't need a computer to do this just an WiFi connection. You can get these just about anywhere in a public setting (coffee shop, McDonalds, book store....etc.)
