The error code E4 means selector switch pads is stuck.
First try a hard reset. Unplug the unit for 10 minutes and then switch on the dishwasher. Most cases you won't get the error message.
If you still get the error message then you need to take to service center to get it repaired. Mostly, the inner connectivity between the pad and circuit board is loose/bad.

The E1 error code indicates a water inlet error. Do you still have your manual to test for this?

The door latch is not catching and pulling the door closed all the way. It may be loose or broken. This means that you need to remove the cover panel on the top of the door and the catch mechanism to get them aligned correctly

It means your leak detector has detected a leak.

My new DW had the same problem but when I had a tech come to the house he explained that the DW only uses .8 gallons of water and that what I am seeing is normal. Do your dishes come out clean? My did, so I guess he was right. Good Luck...xo

You will have to remove it from its installed location. This means unhook the water supply and drain hoses. Then you pull the screws out that hold it to the counter top. Then slide the unit out until you can see the back. The rear legs usually screw in and out to raise and lower the unit.
