You can do a hard reboot by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. To reset all factory defaults (like a forgotten password), you need to reload the firmware using the instructions on teh Craig Electronics site.

You need to get on a computer, go through gmail's forgot password link. After you reset your password, (assuming android) go to settings ->accounts and choose the account you want to change. On my phone running jelly bean there's a button on the bottom to re move account. On my tablet I have to click the top right settings button and select remove account

follow the steps: 1 - remove your SIM card from your phone. 2 - install and download the SE PC Companion 2.0 from the following link:http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/detailed/pccompanion/xperiax10?cc=gb&lc=en 3 - click the start button in Suport Zone, then software Update. 4 - follow the steps of the installer. 5 - when finished reset the fone, and wait it to start. 6 - turn off your phone. 7 - insert again your SIM card. 8 - try to turn on the fone. 9 - when turned on, if it was without net signal, make a hard reset, holding the center button, and then press and hold the on/off button and wait it to vibrate. 10 - release the buttons, and wait.

You probably have multiple apps running and don't know it!!!!! My friend suggested this to me and so far it has helped.... I downloaded Advanced Task Killer and I "kill" everything that I'm not using. The only thing that bothers me and I wish I could figure it out..... if I check this task killer once per hour, there are so many apps that are open that I didn't even use. I'm not sure why this is happening and havent had a chance to figure it out. But I hope this helps, I can be long winded for nothing so.....there's my two cents, hope it works out for you =)
