The slide on the lock
Hello there, the problem you have is a software problem. The best way to solve it is to get the phone flashed. The software system might have gotten corrupt hence it loads well when the phone is restarted. A flash procedure would have the system software corrected and the unit would function perfectly. Get an expert to help flash the phone and this would correct the software program.
Hope this support has been helpful?

My htc hd2 it get
you will have to perform a hard reset and here is how you do it
Performing a factory reset using phone buttons
If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using buttons on the phone.
With your phone powered off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
While holding the volume buttons, press the END/POWER button briefly and then release it.
When you see a warning message on screen, release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
Thumps up if this works :-)
